The Mounties Ron Massey and Sydney Shield teams concluded another strong season, both advancing into the second week of finals after consistent regular season performances. Finishing inside the top three on the ladder, Ron Massey entered the finals with momentum and delivered a strong semifinal showing. A try in the 66th minute narrowed the scoring margin in a tightly contested match, however the side was unable to capitalize late in the final minutes of the second half.
The Mounties Sydney Shield team enjoyed a standout 2025 campaign, holding a solid fourth place position on the ladder for much of their season. Their form earned a place in the second week of finals, where they faced a strong Manly Leagues team. Despite a determined and competitive performance, the team’s season came to an earlier conclusion than hoped.
With preseason already underway, the combined squad is training with purpose and intent, driven by commitment and determination week in and week out at their home field of Aubrey Keech Reserve. Focused on building from last season, Mounties are preparing to enter round one of the 2026 season with confidence and determination for the year ahead.
