The NSW Women’s Premiership continues to establish itself as one of the most exciting and influential development pathways in women’s rugby league, with Mounties reaffirming their position as a powerhouse of the competition through consistent top five finishes since 2017.
The 2025 season marked another strong campaign for Mounties, who secured second place on the NSW Women’s Premiership ladder. After claiming eight regular season victories, the side advanced to the semi-finals, where they narrowly missed a Grand Final appearance, falling just four points short in a hard-fought contest.
Following a pre-season defined by commitment, resilience and preparation, Mounties now turns its focus to the 2026 season. The team will open their season against the Parramatta Eels in Round 1 on Saturday 13th June, as they look to build on last season’s momentum and continue their pursuit of premiership success.
