Ron Massey Cup & Sydney Shield | Round Five

Sydney Shield

.

A tough contest against Ryde this week, but the boys started strongly and stayed committed to our process—winning the middle and shifting to our edges when it mattered most.

.

The second half proved challenging, with errors making things difficult, but with our backs to the wall the lads showed great resilience. Strong defence against a determined Ryde outfit saw us hold on for a hard‑fought 16–10 victory. The boys now head into the bye week undefeated — a well‑earned reward for their efforts.

Ron Massey Cup

.

Our Ron Massey Cup side suffered their first defeat of the 2026 season, going down 32–10 to Ryde in a night where little went our way. Credit to Ryde, who showed up ready to play.

.

Despite the disappointing result, Cooper Smith and Henry Francis stood tall. The group will be eager to bounce back quickly next week as they take on the Eagles.
